Hong Kong-based 4N Architects took top honors in the International Interior Design Association's 4th Annual Global Excellence Awards for its interior design work on the Le Salon Croissanterie et Restaurant project in Hong Kong. The project was one of 18 international projects recognized.

Submissions from 36 countries worldwide were judged by a jury panel consisting of: Marc Fornes, Architect D.P.L.G. (Principal and Founder of THEVERYMANY); Marlene M. Liriano, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C (Vice President and Director of Interior Design, HOK FLORIDA); Patricia Rotondo, Associate IIDA (Associate Principal, VOA Associates Incorporated); and John Schoenbeck (Director, Design Los Angeles Studio – BMW DesignworksUSA).
“We were intrigued by 4N Architects’ project,” Liriano said of the judges’ decision. “The fabulous play of silhouettes and lighting provide the design space with an engaging and theatrical sense of mystery that’s still undeniably inviting. The balance of innovation and aesthetics achieved by Le Salon Croissanterie et Restaurante reflects a high ideal that speaks eloquently to the mission of the Global Excellence Awards.”
