Listed and labeled by UL and Intertek/Warnock-Hersey, this durable, structurally sound fire resistive aluminum clad system provides the clean appearance of conventional aluminum framing with uniform sightlines. The GPX Framing system is available in standard and custom finishes including high performance fluoropolymer finishes by PPG, clear anodized, bronze anodized, black anodized, Decoral®, any species of wood veneer, ornamental metal, and many more. Is a building sustainable if it kills birds?
Migratory birds were flying into the windows and falling, dead or injured, to the foot of the LEED-Platinum FBI building in Chicago. The FBI building isn't the only LEED-certified structure to cause problems for migratory birds, however.
