MINNEAPOLIS, Minn—May 5, 2011—The architecture, interiors and engineering firm Ellerbe Becket, which joined AECOM in 2009, has fully transitioned to operating as AECOM as of May 2, 2011.

This alignment fosters a holistic approach to design, and addresses the range of complex issues that influence the built environment.

Recent projects include Matthew Knight Arena at the University of Oregon, JELD-WEN stadium in Portland, Ore., expansion of Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis, and design of eight hospitals in the Middle East in the past decade alone.

University of Florida aiming for nation’s first LEED Platinum parking garage
If all goes as planned, the University of Florida’s new $20 million Southwest Parking Garage Complex in Gainesville will soon become the first parking facility in the country to earn LEED Platinum status. Draft NIST report on Cowboys practice facility collapse released for public comment
