The 1.5-million-sf Oceanwide Plaza, going up across the street from Staples Center and L.A. Live, will include a “lifestyle plaza,” 100 feet in the air, with 37,000 sf of outdoor amenity spaces. A 700-foot-long LED ribbon will wrap the plaza. And this mixed-use project will feature a 166,580-sf open-air retail galleria. CallisonRTKL designed the exterior, retail interior, and South Towers residential space. Studio Munge designed the North Tower interior and 184-room hotel.
