Dimensional Innovations, an experiential design firm based in Kansas City, Mo., developed the immersive Nick’s Theater, located in the Gerdin Family lobby of the University of Iowa’s Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Patients can run two interactive games on the theater’s 32-foot-long screen, which uses Microsoft Kinect software.
