Building Design+Construction editors invite your firm to apply for one of our 2020 AEC industry recognition and awards programs. NOTE: Due to the delays related to COVID-19, we have extended the submission deadlines for the Giants 300 surveys, Building Team Awards, and 40 Under 40. Please see updated deadlines below. 

 

 

BUILDING TEAM AWARDS

Building Design+Construction's Building Team Awards recognize newly built (opened or occupied January 1, 2019 or later) projects that best exemplify the collaboration between owner, architect, engineer, and contractor to produce buildings that exhibit architectural and construction excellence. Winners will be featured in the June 2020 issue of BD+C. Entries are due Friday, March 20, 2020. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 24, 2020

40 UNDER 40

Each year since 2006, the editors of BD+C have honored 40 individuals in the AEC community as the next generation of rising stars. The 2020 "40 Under 40" competition is now open for entries. To be eligible, entrants must be under the age of 40 as of August 31, 2020. Entries are due April 17, 2020  DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 15, 2020. Winners will be featured in the September 2020 issue of BD+C.

RECONSTRUCTION AWARDS

One of the longest-running reconstruction project awards programs (37 years), BD+C’s Reconstruction Awards honor the nation’s best historic preservation, adaptive reuse, renovation, and reconstruction projects, based on overall design, engineering, and construction project quality. Entries are due July 10, 2020. Winners will be profiled in the November 2020 issue of BD+C.

GIANTS 300 REPORT

The annual Giants 300 Report ranks the top AEC firms in commercial construction, by revenue. You’ll want to be sure your firm is on the Giants 300 list, as potential clients look to these rankings for prospective firms to design and construct their future projects. Giants 300 results will be published in the July, August, and September 2020 issues of BD+C. Giants 300 surveys are due Friday, April 10, 2020. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APRIL 30, 2020
