Viewrail outdoor glass railing

Viewrail outdoor glass railings make an effective windbreak.

Viewrail has announced a new expanded line of glass railing for use in indoor and outdoor locations. Each new offering is designed to hide every piece of hardware and every fastener.

The frameless side-mount, base rail and standoff pin glass systems utilize ½” tempered and 9/16” laminated glass, while the framed systems (with posts) accept ⅜” and ½” tempered or 9/16” laminated glass.

Viewrail glass railing systems have been designed to be simple to install, with basic deck-building skills and tools being the only installation requirements. The glass panels provide safety and make an effective windbreak.

All Viewrail glass panels are fabricated from Starphire low-iron glass that contains less than 10% of the iron found in normal glass, eliminating the green hue common in most glass.

Great Solutions: Technology

19. Hybrid Geothermal Technology The team at Stantec saved $800,000 in construction costs by embedding geothermal piping into the structural piles at the WestJet office complex in Calgary, Alb., rather than drilling boreholes adjacent to the building site, which is the standard approach.
