SmithGroupJJR hired Robert Wilson, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, as a senior project manager in its San Francisco office.
Wilson makes the move to SmithGroupJJR from VOA Associates, Inc., where he served as a senior vice president and technical director in its Chicago office.
Wilsonâs career has been marked by involvement in a range of interior architecture projects for clients across the corporate, retail, hospitality and healthcare markets. Notable projects include build-out of MillerCoors 108,000-sf corporate offices in Chicago, Ill.; initial space planning for the Abu Dhabi Financial Center, a two million-square foot mixed development on Sowwah Island in the United Arab Emirates; and leading construction management activities for expansion of Deloitteâs 420,000-sf offices in Chicago, Ill.
In his new role, Wilson will serve in a leadership role for key office and workplace projects. He will also work to identify marketing opportunities for the firm in the corporate and public sectors. +
