Durable and Cleanable Tedlar® Interiors at New Women & Children’s Hospital

Tedlar® PVF film from DuPont is laminated to wallcoverings and interior materials to create highly durable surfaces. Tedlar® is stain-proof, and can withstand the harshest cleaning agents, while protecting the colors and patterns for a lasting new look. It has excellent fire and smoke ratings, and does not support the growth of mold or mildew. It is often chosen to protect the walls in high-traffic and demanding environments, such as hospitality and healthcare. Tedlar® was recently selected as a protective material for the renovation of the largest women and children’s medical center in China. Tedlar® was used in three different ways – interior metal panels, wallcoverings, and wardrobe finishes. This project showcases the wide range of substrates that Tedlar® can be laminated to, creating a long-lasting, clean, safe, and beautiful environment.
