Abrazo Cave Creek Hospital, a 35,000-sf hospital located in Cave Creek, Ariz., has completed construction.

The new hospital features a 13-bed emergency department; an operating room and a three-bed pre-op/post-anesthesia care unit; eight inpatient rooms for overnight stays; an imaging suite for x-ray, ultrasound, and CT scans; and a laboratory. The emergency room will be open year-round, 24/7.

“Demand for micro hospitals in the Southwest has continued to grow, and our ability to quickly construct and deliver a hospital like this one enables providers to meet their patients’ medical needs closer to home,” said Scott Salyer, Regional Manager for Adolfson & Peterson Construction.

Construction on the hospital began in January 2020 and it is expected to open for patient care after completing equipment and supply delivery and setup in mid-2021. E4H Architecture designed the project and Adolfson & Peterson Construction was the general contractor.
