Meet the National Institute for AI in Construction
John Caulfield interviews Mani Golparvar, an Associate Professor at the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. Golparvar is leading a project to develop a National Institute of Artificial Intelligence for Construction, which is being supported by the National Science Foundation and the Discovery Partners Institute. More than 40 AEC, venture capital, and tech companies will work with UoI and Carnegie Mellon University to develop the framework of the Institute, whose goal is to advance the use of AI in construction and science/research in general.

The rise of eSports facilities
BD+C's David Barista discusses the latest trends and innovations in eSports facilities with three experts: Thom Chuparkoff, AIA, LEED AP, Director of OSPORTS; Geoff Aiken, Division Director of Sports, Entertainment & Technology with OSPORTS; and Scott Norcross, Partner with law firm Kohrman Jackson Krantz (KJK).

Lack of organizational readiness is biggest hurdle to artificial intelligence adoption
