New Corona Metrolink Parking Structure

Metrolink riders are looking forward to more parking spaces to ease railway access.

The Riverside County Transportation Commission's 1,065 parking space, six-story concrete structure for Metrolink riders in Corona, CA, is on course for completion. The new concrete building will have two entrances, two exits, two elevators, plus a connecting bridge to an over-crossing. The total station parking capacity when construction is completed will be some 1,415 spaces, with the existing lot nearby.

 

Cost: $25 million

Contractor: McCarthy Building Companies, Inc.

Date Construction Started: January 4, 2008

Estimated Completion: Fall 2009 (21 months)
