Circa Resort & Casino, located in Las Vegas, is set to open on Oct. 28. The 25-story, adults-only facility will feature 777 rooms, a two-story casino, six temperature-controlled pools, the largest pool amphitheater in the country, the largest sports book in the world, and, something guests in today’s world will be especially interested in, extensive contactless technology and services.
The technology comes via a deal the resort made with Intelity, a company that specializes in contactless experiences for the hospitality industry. Intelity will provide mobile check-in and mobile key, as well as a fleet of 10-inch tablets that will enable contactless service and give guests digital control over their stays.
Guests will be able to skip the front desk and check in directly from their smartphones, but will also be able to use the tablets to order mobile dining, make reservations for resort services and amenities, stream music, and request contactless service.
“The resort itself is one-of-a-kind and we’re thrilled to partner with them to help take service to the next level,” said Robert Stevenson, Intelity CEO, in a release. “In the COVID-19 era, safety and luxury are the two top commodities—and by deploying the Intelity platform, Circa Resort & Casino will be able to provide both at the highest standards available in the industry.”
Additionally, the resort will be able to customize messaging and promotions for special events and groups to provide unique opportunities to personalize guest experiences.

Report: Fraud levels fall for construction industry, but companies still losing $6.4 million on average
The global construction, engineering and infrastructure industry saw a significant decline in fraud activity with companies losing an average of $6.4 million over the last three years, according to the latest edition of the Kroll Annual Global Fraud Report, released today at the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2009 Annual Meeting in Boston. This new figure represents less than half of last year’s amount of $14.2 million.

First CityCenter projects earn LEED Gold
CityCenter announced today that it has received three Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED Gold certifications from the U.S. Green Building Council for: 1) ARIA Resort's hotel tower; 2) ARIA Resort's convention center and theater; 3) Vdara Hotel. And the world's tallest building is…
At more than 2,600 feet high, the Burj Dubai (right) can still lay claim to the title of world's tallest building—although like all other super-tall buildings, its exact height will have to be recalculated now that the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) announced a change to its height criteria.
