The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District has selected JE Dunn Construction and Hoefer Wysocki Architects to design and build the new Sheppard Air Force Base Medical/Dental Clinic in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The $67.5 million, 170,000-sf clinic will support the 82nd Medical Group, which provides medical care for more than half of the Air Forceās annual throughput of Airman in Training. It will include a 900-sf ambulance shelter and a 10,000-sf joint Biological Agent Identification and Diagnostic System (JBaids) space. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification and will be completed in 37 months.
Other members of the Building Team include ME Group (mechanical and electrical engineering services), Bob D. Campbell (SE), BHC Rhodes (CE), and Dimensional Innovations (signage).
