The Coachella City Council approved a proposal to build La Entrada, a 2,200-acre city within a city. It would include 7,800 homes; a retail center with stores, office space, and businesses; nearly 350 acres of open space for playgrounds, parks and hiking trails; and potentially a new soccer-centric sports venue.

School districts are prioritizing federal funds for air filtration, HVAC upgrades
U.S. school districts are widely planning to use funds from last year’s American Rescue Plan (ARP) to upgrade or improve air filtration and heating/cooling systems, according to a report from the Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council.
