Fireframes® Aluminum Series provides a barrier to radiant and conductive heat transfer. The narrow profiles allow unlimited areas of glazing in fire separations.
Duro-Last® is a leader in vertical integration. Since the beginning, our founder, John R. Burt, strived to produce as many parts of a Duro-Last assembly in-house while also embracing the Edge-to-Edge & Deck-to-Sky™ approach. All of this allows Duro-Last to control quality from top to bottom.
Sustainability has been a part of the Duro-Last® culture for more than 20 years, and we have the products to back it up. Duro-Last’s flagship membrane achieved NSF/ANSI 347 Platinum Certification – the highest certification available – and the Duro-Tuff®, Duro-Fleece®, and Duro-Last EV membranes each earned Gold Certification.
SteelBuilt Curtainwall® Systems feature larger free spans, narrower sight lines and improved thermal performance than typical aluminum curtain wall.

In the GC community, Suffolk Construction was one of the first to not only recognize the potential of emerging technologies, like drones and reality capture, but to establish a formal process for vetting these tools.
The firm established R&D teams across the organization to pilot technologies on actual projects. If the desired results were achieved, the team would then evaluate the scalability across the organization.
It all sounds so simple, right? Well it’s not.
In this 15-minute talk at BD+C’s Accelerate Live! conference (May 11, 2017, Chicago), Chris Mayer, Suffolk’s Chief Innovation Officer, talks about the firm’s framework for vetting and implementing new technologies and processes.
