Solar brokerage will provide financing for small/medium businesses

First to fund solar for smaller-scale commercial operations.

By Peter Fabris, Contributing Editor | July 30, 2019

SinglePoint Inc. signed its first funding agreement to supply small-to-medium sized businesses with solar financing.

The company says it is the first financing deal of its kind for solar installations for commercial buildings. The financing agreement with Direct Solar allows the solar installer to finance and install PV systems in one seamless package, according to a news release.

“We have a pipeline of interested businesses that we now have the ability to finance,” says Pablo Diaz, CEO, Direct Solar. “[The small/medium business sector] is a completely untapped market in my opinion with a high chance for major success.”

Up until now, there have been many solar funding options for large scale projects and residential solar projects, but there has not been an easy way to obtain funding for small-to-medium commercial operations, the release says.
