You can't walk into a cutting-edge design school on boring, outdated floors. That's why officials at the Parsons School of Design in New York chose AlumaFloor for their new, 7,500-sf reception area. Originally developed for Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, AlumaFloor is made from ordinary aircraft aluminum that is artistically modified into durable, flexible flooring that can be formed into any shape and size. Precision machining means no grouting or fasteners are necessary.
