The L3 Technologies’ Training Center is a new pilot training facility in Arlington, Texas. The Merriman Anderson/Architects-designed facility provides simulation and instruction for military and commercial pilots.

The 42,000-sf training center more than doubled the size of the company’s existing high bay facility. The expansion includes space for six additional full-flight simulators, a demonstration room, and classrooms that incorporate virtual reality and augmented reality technology.

The design of the new facility replicated the existing design, also courtesy of Merriman Anderson/Architects, originally developed in 2014. Merriman Anderson/Architects was the architect and the interior designer for the project.
