Chicago’s first citizenM hotel is set to rise as part of Sterling Bay’s mixed-use development at 300 North Michigan Avenue, located between the Riverwalk and Millenium Park.

The 47-story, 523-foot tower will include 289 residential units, 280 hotel rooms, and 25,000 sf of retail space. The ground floor retail will open directly to the street with the hotel and a terrace above. A subterranean, 22-parking-spot garage will also be included.

The 280 hotel rooms will feature XL king-sized beds, an HD TV with a library of on-demand movies and streaming options via free WiFi, a rain shower, and customizable room ambiance – the blinds, TV, and lights are all enabled to change colors – controlled by an iPad.
