BD+C’s new Movers+Shapers program will honor AEC/O industry stalwarts. Honorees will be profiled in the June 2016 issue.

Call for Entries: BD+C’s 2016 AEC Movers+Shapers report

Deadline for nominations is March 11, 2016

Do you know someone who is making a singular, positive impact on the nation’s built environment? Maybe a local politician who his leading a massive urban redevelopment effort. A real estate developer who is transforming neighborhoods. An AEC professional who is rethinking traditional approaches to design or construction. Nominate them for Building Design+Construction’s first annual Movers+Shapers program!

In the June 2016 issue of BD+C, we will be profiling a dozen or so leaders in this special report. We’ll select one from this pack as our first annual “Mover+Shaper of the Year.”

We invite our readers to participate in the selection process by identifying those stalwarts who are making a difference in this field in meaningful ways. We’re looking for nominees whose actions have been bold statements.

The program is open to anyone who impacts the build environment (or related fields) in some way, including:
Architecture
Academia
Business Development
Construction
Design
Education
Engineering
Environment/sustainability
Finance Management
Government/Politics
Marketing
Membership Association
Product Manufacturing
Property Ownership
Real Estate Development
Urban Planning

 

HOW TO NOMINATE

To nominate a person, please email the name, title, company, and contact information of the potential candidate, along with a brief (no more than 250 words) explanation about why they are worthy of consideration, to both David Barista, BD+C Editorial Director, dbarista@sgcmail.com, and John Caulfield, Senior Editor, jcaulfield@sgcmail.com.
Nominations are due Friday, March 11, 2016
