Construction begins on a 402,000-sf parking garage for the University of Central Florida, Orlando. The $14 million structure, slated to open by next January, will comprise 1,326 parking spaces for the university’s athletic events, entertainment venues, and daily commuters. Design-build firm Haskell, based in Jacksonville, Fla., will build the parking structure to match the academic architectural style and brick façade of the surrounding campus buildings.
