The resulting LED MEDIAMESH installation displays information and images of West Virginia’s landscape, demonstrating how information media and landscape integration can be combined. Taking about a year from initial concept to final installation, the system combines stainless steel mesh with integrated LED light points for a robust, weather-resistant unit suitable for long-term outdoor applications. While clearly visible to passing traffic, the screens achieve a transparency of approximately 50%, meaning both a clear line of sight and defined image reproduction.
