Winner announced for London Olympic Games Information Pavilion
A group of Portuguese architects have won the London Olympic Games Information Pavilion competition, designing an Olympic rings-shaped building made from recycled steel and housing an array of solar panels. Sustainability was a common theme amongst submitted designs—the second and third place buildings also featured recycled material and renewable energy.
