Fire alarm specified for reopened historic hotel

Aug. 11, 2010

Built in 1845 in Weston, Mo., the Saint George Hotel (below) has been remodeled and reopened after sitting idle for almost 15 years. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this grand hotel features 26 guest rooms. When it was being renovated in 2006, local alarm contractor Tec-Larm was hired to specify the building's new alarm system. Tec-Larm chose Silent Knight's IntelliKnight's 5820XL addressable panel. The 5820XL has up to 508 addressable points and offers central station reporting by point or by zone. A dual-line digital fire communicator allows for reporting of all system activity to a remote location.
