Branded St. Regis condo tower breaks ground in Houston

The design for the 38-story St. Regis Residences is inspired by the meandering pathway of an adjacent nature preserve.

St. Regis Residences, Houston, a 38-story luxury branded condominium tower, recently broke ground. Located at 102 Asbury Street in Houston, Texas, the project sits on the northern bank of River Oaks and will feature an exclusive collection of 90 luxury residences, ranging from one to three bedrooms, as well as seven penthouses.

“The St. Regis Residences, Houston represents a rare opportunity to design a residential tower that is both distinctly urban and deeply interconnected with its natural setting,” said Adrienne Nelson, Principal at Pickard Chilton.

“Inspired by the meandering pathway of the adjacent nature preserve, the tower’s form, arrival sequence, and residential experience are designed to create a refined sense of place in the heart of Houston," added Nelson. "The result is a truly exceptional residential offering that brings together architecture, landscape, hospitality, and panoramic views.”

The design for the curvilinear tower draws inspiration from the nearby nature preserve and its winding creek-side pathways. The tower’s unique triangular plan creates a refined profile on the Houston skyline while allowing for unobstructed views in all directions, including toward downtown, River Oaks, and Memorial Park.

Residences are positioned to take full advantage of natural light, expansive views, and the tower’s relationship to the cityscape and natural landscape.

Residents will have access to more than 40,000 sf of private wellness-focused amenities, including the Astor dining room and cognac bar on the 20th floor, a resort-style pool deck, a state-of-the-art fitness area, spa, wellness center, owner’s lounge, and pet spa.

The project’s proximity to the nature preserve, running and biking trails, and area museums further enhances the residential experience.

The project is slated for completion in Q1 2029. All seven penthouses, including three crown duplexes, have been pre-sold, and the project is currently 45% pre-sold.
