In response to my earlier blog post about Life Fitness adding prerecorded classes for use with its exercise equipment ("Life Fitness enters the fray against Peloton"), I received the following news from Life Fitness's PR representative:
You mentioned that it’s an “open question whether Life Fitness will sell its bicycles to apartment building owners,” and I wanted to confirm that we do sell our premium Life Fitness cardio products to multi-unit housing customers.
The Life Fitness On Demand platform also has classes on a range of cardio equipment – including treadmills, exercise bikes, cross-trainers and climbers – which is something that no one else is offering right now.
That gives apartment building operators another alternative to Peloton, which has discontinued sales to multifamily communities, for their in-house fitness centers.
Good news for your fitness operations in 2020!
