RAM Commercial Trucks has been named the official truck of the 2013 International Roofing Expo (IRE), taking place February 5-7, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas USA.

Covering all segments of the roofing industry, attendees are made up of commercial and residential contractors, builders, remodelers, building owners, facility managers, manufacturers, architects, engineers and other ancillary industry professionals.

“We are thrilled to have RAM Commercial Trucks as the official truck of the International Roofing Expo,” said Lindsay Roberts, Group Director of the Expo. "The durable features that embody RAM trucks make it a natural fit for our audience who relies on trucks to haul their equipment on a daily basis.”

A RAM truck will be on display in a prime location at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center all three days of the show, allowing attendees and exhibitors a first-hand opportunity to experience the powerful vehicle’s innovative capabilities. 

With its sponsorship, RAM Commercial Trucks joins Dataforma, USG and Sika Sarnafil as major exhibiting sponsors of the International Roofing Expo.

BIM adoption rate exceeds 80% among nation’s largest AEC firms

The nation’s largest architecture, engineering, and construction companies are on the BIM bandwagon in a big way, according to Building Design+Construction’s premier Top 170 BIM Adopters ranking, published as part of the 2009 Giants 300 survey. Of the 320 AEC firms that participated in Giants survey, 83% report having at least one BIM seat license in house, and nearly a quarter (23%) have 100-plus seats.
