Ranking the Top 10 Global Real Estate Service Providers

CB Richard Ellis, with more than 17 000 employees operating out of 300 offices in 50 countries worldwide takes the No.1 spot in ResearchWorldwide.com's "Ranking the Top 10 Global Real Estate Service Providers".

"The increasing penetration of multi-national corporations, many of whom are larger than certain smaller countries (see Global Corporations larger than Countries' Economies - ResearchWorldwide.com, November 2004.) has necessitated real estate service providers to follow the globalization process and have offices and representation in 57 countries," says ResearchWorldwide.com.

Cushman and Wakefield, which has over 11 000 employees in 189 offices in 57 countries comes in second in the top 10 rankings, followed by the Knight Frank/Grubb and Ellis alliance in third place.

Jones Lang LaSalle, which has 9 600 employees involved in real estate services as well as a further 9 700 directly reimbursable property maintenance employees, comes in fourth place, as the focus of the rankings is on employees providing real estate professional related services.

Colliers, with 9 141 employees comes in fifth, followed by DTZ, Binswanger, Oncor International, Coldwell Banker Commercial, with NAI Global in tenth place.

The top five global real estate service providers have, on average, 50 employees per office. All the top 10 ranked companies provide the complete range of commercial real estate services required to service global and local clients.
