Cambridge, Mass.-based architect ADD Inc. in North America, Evata in Europe and the Adrianse Group in Asia have formed E2A-Global alliance.

Carrier Johnson, a San Diego-based architectural design firm, has opened a San Francisco office. Sanjiv Bhandari is director.

San Diego-based Tucker, Sadler & Associates Inc. has appointed Rubert L. Noble chief executive officer and principal of design and promoted Arturo M. Castro to president. The firm has been renamed Tucker Sadler Noble Castro Architects.

Chicago-based Kirkegaard & Associates, consultants in architectural acoustics, has changed its name to Kirkegaard Associates.

New York City-based A/E Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP has named H. Guy Leibler president.

New York City-based H. Thomas O'Hara, Architect has promoted Garrett Gourlay to associate partner and chief operating officer, and Rey Macadaeg and Eduardo Salcedo to associate partners.

Thomas D. Kearns and Elise F. Woodword have been named principals of Boston-based architectural firm Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott.
