Mobile architecture addresses social issues, technology evolution

Mobile architecture addresses more than just the rapid technological changes in today’s society. According to OpenBuildings, it also mitigates social issues such as migration, housing, recycling, natural disasters and overpopulation.

OpenBuilding’s Adel Zakout compiled a list of the 10 best examples of mobile architecture. Among the projects featured are the “cargotecture” of Shigeru Ban’s Nomadic Museum and the floating Watervilla de Omval.
