Do you have an "up-and-comer" on your Building Team? Building Design+Construction is looking for 40 of the top under-40 "hotshots" in the built environment. "40 Under 40" Nominees may come from the following fields related to the AEC community:

• Interior design
• Engineering (M/E/P, structural, acoustic, etc.)
• Construction
• Construction management
• Project management
• Design/build
• Academia
• Facility management
• Real estate development
• Property ownership or management
• Finance (related to construction)
• Government (Federal, state, local)
• Building product manufacturing
• Building product inventor/developer
• NGOs, membership or trade association in the building field
• Nonprofit environmental or development organizations

Note: Individuals whose work is exclusively related to single-family housing or civil engineering are not eligible. Qualities and Characteristics We're Looking For (not necessarily in this order)

Don't be bashful! If you’re under 40 as of January 1, 2010 and believe you qualify, feel free to nominate yourself. 

International Nominees Welcome
BD+C's "40 Under 40" Competition is open to Building Team professionals around the world. Nominations will be judged by the editors of Building Design+Construction, whose decision is final.
