Final Beam Placed on 15-story Hotel Tower

Casino Arizona Resort & Spa, an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, celebrated the "topping off" of its hotel tower during a ceremony on Oct. 15.

The event commemorated a significant milestone in construction as the final steel beam was placed on the project's 15-story mid-rise hotel tower, marking the half-way point of project's construction before its grand opening in early 2010.

The celebration also included remarks from Diane Enos, SRP-MIC president; Ryan Andrews, Salt River Gaming Enterprise board of directors chair; Jon Jenkins, Casino Arizona president and CEO; Kevin Mass, FFKR; and Steven Chanen, Chanen Construction.
