Hope’s Jamestown175 Series Steel Windows | Energy-Efficient Commercial Windows
by Hope’s Windows
When building the new terminal building at the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, the approach was that preserving the “Santa Barbara airport experience” needed to come through in both the design and passenger experience, and Hope’s Windows products helped in both areas. The new terminal was designed to look old and fit within the predominant Spanish Colonial Revival architecture of the city, and Hope’s Jamestown175 Series steel windows were used throughout the concourse and gate areas. Immense windows within a custom-built arched entrance, rear airfield-facing side of the building and interior upper floor restaurant and departure lounge area allow expansive view, an experience also available in a ground-floor observation deck, surrounded by custom steel window screens. Because environmental sustainability was also a design focus, the recycled steel profiles selected contributed credits toward LEED Gold certification.
LG 27-Inch Top-Load Washers | Commercial Laundry Solutions
by LG Electronics USA
For businesses, landlords and schools utilizing commercial washers and dryers, a new series of 27-inch high-efficiency top-load washers launches to deliver durability and reliability. The coin- and card-operated models incorporate the company’s advanced Inverter Direct Drive motor, which is covered by a 5-year limited warranty, and Gyro Balancing System with 3-D Sensor that monitors drum movement to reduce motion, vibration and noise. Ideal for high-usage environments, the units’ front-access design simplifies maintenance by allowing most servicing to be done without disassembly to minimize downtime and technician efficiency.
CertainTeed HeartFelt Groove | Acoustic Ceiling & Wall Panels
by CertainTeed
Delivering a versatile architectural solution, HeartFelt Groove merges elegant design with acoustic performance for interior spaces. Joining the HeartFelt felt ceiling and wall system family, the new profile offers a clean, “square W” groove pattern for dimensionality with a subtle visual texture in five shades of gray. Crafted from non-woven PES felt fibers, it is reusable and 100% recyclable plus meets Class A fire performance standards, GREENGUARD Gold certified and Cradle to Cradle Certified Bronze in addition to its noise reduction coefficient up to 0.65. Panels are available in 8-foot lengths and used on ceilings and walls; lighting can be integrated for added function and design.
Copeland YAW/YAV Compressors | Cold Climate Heat Pump Technology
by Copeland
Further supporting the acceleration of sustainable heat pump adoption, the launch of two compressor platforms, YAW and YAV, help heat pump manufacturers overcome heating capacity challenges in cold climate applications down to –25 F. Targeting heat pumps’ current reliance on backup heating systems as a supplement in cold climates, the YAW and YAV variable-speed scroll compressor platforms are engineered to deliver the heating capacities and efficiencies required to meet the U.S. Department of Energy’s strict cold climate heat pump (CCHP) standard. The YAV platform achieves an improved capacity ratio for increased year-round efficiencies in part-load conditions and enhanced comfort in cold climates. Available in tonnage ranges for residential and commercial applications, the YAW platform features—including scroll enhancements for lower-global warming potential A2L refrigerant optimization—expands heat pump operation in low ambient conditions.
Construction Specialties FB-24 | Fire Barrier & Expansion Joint Protection
by Construction Specialties
A complete system of expansion joint proetection, the FB-24 is designed to accommodate 1-4-inch nominal wall joints, increasing safety and helping maintain a building’s structural integrity during a fire incident. Supplied in 8-foot lengths, its single-piece installation does not require mechanical fasteners, and it can seamlessly transition to the company’s FB-22 floor fire barrier for a complete fire-rated solution. The expansion joint fire barrier has been tested and is third-party listed with a 2-hour fire endurance rating in wall applications, which meets most current building codes and testing criteria.
Armstrong Templok | Energy-Saving Ceiling Panels with PCM
by Armstrong World Industries
Taking some of the workload off HVAC systems—saving energy and supporting greener buildings—energy-saving mineral fiber ceiling panels with phase change material (PCM), like the Armstrong Templok Energy Saving Ceiling, passively store heat when a room is warm, then release it as the room cools. While energy-saving ceiling tiles may fit the thermal comfort portion of the WELL Building Standard and can contribute to energy and atmosphere credits for LEED, projects using PCM ceiling tiles may also qualify for certain tax credits, like the Investment Tax Credit 48E. Additionally, the Templok ceiling panels are made in the U.S. of domestic and global content, qualifying them for additional tax savings.
Duravit Faucets | Water-Saving Bathroom Fixtures
by Duravit
As part of the company’s commitment to innovative and design-forward bathroom solutions, the DuraSquare and Duravit No. 1 Floor Mount Tub Filler Faucets expand the complete bathroom product portfolio and are a complement to existing collections. Drawing inspiration from bustling urban environments, the DuraSquare faucet embraces cubic design and a modern sentiment, while the Duravit No. 1 faucet has gently rounded shapes reminiscent of ocean waves. Glen-Gery SK1N | Terracotta Façade System for Sustainable Cladding
by Glen-Gery
Merging European craftsmanship with contemporary architecture, the SK1N terracotta façade system brings a sense of the natural world within any setting. Crafted in Italy by San Selmo, the noncombustible, colorfast and low-maintenance cladding system emits no VOCs, is fully recyclable and reusable due to its natural makeup, and is backed by a 100-year warranty. Ideal for vertical applications on both new and existing walls, the system features a rear-ventilated rainscreen system to improve thermal performance and air circulation. A long, linear format, flexible joints and seven nature-inspired hues allow customization to the cladding system.
