While Swatchbox has offered a free return service for samples from its platform, this program expansion includes any material samples in complete, undamaged condition. Returned samples are analyzed and graded, then stocked in fulfillment centers and made available on the Swatchbox platform for use by other architects and designers. Unlabeled, discontinued or lightly worn samples are made available to students and educators; damaged materials are processed through recycling partners.
