Projects Awarded

Jonathan Nehmer + Associates of Rockville, Md., is the architect for the 10-story Marriott Heathrow Plaza Hotel in Lake Mary, Fla. Maitland, Fla.-based Welbro Building Corp. is the construction manager.

Albany, N.Y.-based A/E Einhorn Yaffee Prescott is architect for the McCormick Tribune Center at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. The 48,000-sq.-ft. broadcast journalism building will be an extension of the Medill School of Journalism. Chicago-based Pepper Construction Co. is general contractor. Completion is scheduled for mid-2002.

San Francisco-based Gensler and Santa Monica, Calif.-based Moore Ruble Yudell Architects & Planners are architects for a 253,000-sq.-ft. expansion of the San Jose (Calif.) Fairmont Hotel. Milpitas, Calif.-based Devcon Construction Inc. is general contractor for the project, which is scheduled for completion in early 2002.
