Thin LED light fixture lowers HVAC costs

April 26, 2013

The Pixi FlatLight luminaire is an edge-lit LED light source that uses 80% less energy than incandescent lights. With an independent power source and a 0.55-inch thickness, the fixtures are easily installed and can be flush-mounted onto any flat surface. The low heat output helps reduce HVAC costs. The fixture emits a bright, uniform light that can last up to 50,000 hours, according to the manufacturer.
