Custom lockers add a new dimension to CSU–Fullerton athletic program

Jan. 4, 2013

At California State University, Fullerton, the athletic department was looking for customized lockers to accommodate taller athletes participating in basketball and volleyball programs. Spec-Rite Designs supplied the school with custom 96-inch phenolic lockers that are Greenguard-certified, nonmicrobial, nonporous, and resistant to mold and moisture. Each of the 80 low-VOC lockers was accented with wood grain panels, custom routering of the university’s logo on the doors, and vented pneumatic-hinged storage benches with stainless steel hardware. Custom-designed storage units and two-tier lockers were also provided.
