Moroccan hotel to offer residential, resort, and retail spaces

July 22, 2011
The Park Hyatt Marrakech at Al Maaden, Morocco, designed by New York-based architecture firm Perkins Eastman, is a 377,000-sf hotel complex with residential, resort, and retail spaces and views of the Atlas Mountains. Guests of the 131-room hotel will have access to an 18-hole golf course, private interior courtyard, and two pools—one for day recreation and one for formal occasions. Each of the 45 luxury villas will feature a living room, dining room, fireplace, and private pool. Additional amenities include a resort center, restaurant, spa, conference area, and an artist’s medina. Collaborating on the project are Florida-based landscaping firm Site Concepts International and interior designer SM Design, Paris.
