Waldorf Astoria tops off its first standalone residential project
In Pompano Beach, Fla., real estate developers the Related Group and Merrimac Ventures, along with Hilton, recently announced the topping-off of Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, the brand’s first standalone residential project.
The architecture is led by Nichols Architects in collaboration with KORA, with interiors by BAMO.
Slated for completion in summer 2027, the 28-story tower will provide 92 luxury condos. The two- to five-bedroom units will range from 2,100 sf to 6,100 sf. Each unit will be accessible via private elevator entry and dedicated foyer.
The units’ floor-to-ceiling glass and expansive terraces will offer views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
In addition to private elevator access, the two penthouses will have wraparound terraces and up to 70 linear feet of direct ocean frontage. The penthouses’ terraces, ranging from 3,200 sf to 3,500 sf, will offer air-conditioned entertainment spaces, summer kitchens, and private pools.
The tower will have 200 linear feet of beachfront with a private marina for almost two dozen vessels. Amenities will include a 20,000-sf oceanfront pool deck, spa and wellness facilities, fitness studios, and a children’s entertainment center. The building also will provide 24-hour concierge, in-residence dining, and dedicated beach and poolside service.
“With Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, we focused on a true sense of place—pairing the intimacy of beachside living with the brand’s nearly century-long legacy of influence and legendary service standards, delivered through the global strength of Hilton’s Branded Residential platform,” Jonathan Wingo, global head of residential programs at Hilton, said in a statement.
Now more than 85% sold, the units start at $2.65 million, with the penthouses priced from $16 million to $20 million.
On the building team: Related Group and Merrimac Ventures (developers), KORA (design architect), Nichols Architects (architect of record), Enea Landscape Architecture (landscape architect), MG Engineering (MEP engineer), B&J Consulting Engineers (structural engineer), KEITH (civil engineer), Coastal Construction (general contractor).
