EPS insulation for building foundations

Aug. 11, 2010

Rigid expanded polystyrene insulation for foundations and other below-grade concrete applications protects buildings from water infiltration and insects and offers energy savings by eliminating air leaks. Manufactured with EPS, heat-laminated on both sides to polyethylene film facers, R-Tech BG provides a minimum compressive strength of 1,872 pounds per sf, providing a durable insulation that can stand up to jobsite impacts and other loads. Includes recycled components and can contribute toward LEED credits.
