In order to preserve the 132-year-old Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse for future generations, the city of Annapolis, Md., along with the U.S. Lighthouse Society and other partners, is working to update the structure, which is designated as a National Historic Landmark. As part of Jeld-Wen's Lighthouse Restoration Initiative, the company donated eight custom AuraLast wood windows and two IWP Aurora Custom Fiberglass exterior doors for the lighthouse. The doors and windows will preserve the historic look and can withstand coastal conditions and decay.
