The only museum dedicated to contemporary art in Manhattan, The New Museum this March opened a 60,000-sf expansion, designed by OMA, with Arup as MEP, structural, and fire/life safety engineer. The new building is designed to blend seamlessly with the existing SANAA-designed flagship building on the Bowery at Prince Street.
