96-unit senior housing community opens in Orland Park, Ill.

The units are split between assisted living apartments and memory care studios.

Orland Park, Ill., is the new home to Pathway to Living’s new 96-unit assisted living community, Heartis Village.

The community’s 96 units will be spread across a 89,622-sf property. A three-story assisted living building will house the 72 assisted living apartments that range in size from 371 to 1,032 sf.

Options include one-bedroom/one-bath, one-bedroom-plus-den/one-bath, and two-bedroom/two-bath layouts, each with a kitchenette. A single-story memory care wing contains 24 memory care studios that measure approximately 260 to 360 sf and come in two layouts: one with a private shower and one with a shared shower.

Heartis Village of Orland Park will offer residents all-day dining in The Grove dining room, a separate bistro, a movie theater, a chapel, community rooms, a salon and spa, a library and technology center, a therapy gym and fitness center, and a large courtyard with a walking path and raised gardens. Memory care residents will have access to their own central courtyard.
