Water displacement

Water displacement

August 11, 2010
This article first appeared in the 200101 issue of BD+C.

When an 80-unit condominium complex in Danbury, Conn., began taking in water from its brick façade, the local town engineer was forced to condemn the building and displace a number of residents. A building team led by local contractor Mike Cardillo installed the Infinity System to resolve the water intrusion problem. The tenants of the 30,000-sq.-ft. building were able to move back into their units, and the condemned complex was fully restored.
