The new Advanced Education and Clinical Practice Center at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester, will house medical education, clinical and translational research, and ambulatory care programs. The central component of the 258,000-sf facility will be the Center for Experiential Learning and Simulation, where students and healthcare practitioners can develop and practice clinical skills. Boston-based Payette is teaming with Consigli Construction on the design/build project. Other team members include structural engineer Souza, True & Partners, Watertown, Mass., and civil engineer Nitsch Engineering, Boston.
