The Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation in West Point, Ga., has commissioned Batson-Cook to build a 71,000-sf residence hall. With its 80 rooms, the new two-story residence hall will provide the institute’s 5,000 patients with single, double, and quadruple sleeping quarters, along with classrooms, a café, and a library. Common areas will feature exposed heavy timber and storefront glass, as well as masonry stone fireplaces.
