Raleigh, N.C., to get a 20-story mixed-use center

A joint development team of Kane Realty Corp., Raleigh, N.C., and Duke Realty Corp., Indianapolis, has announced plans to build a 20-story mixed-use office tower Raleigh, N.C.'s North Hills neighborhood. Due to break ground this fall, the 265-foot-tall structure will be the tallest building in the area and the third tallest in Raleigh. It will offer 275,000 sf of Class A office space with ground-floor retail and restaurants, and free parking with direct access to the office floors at a ratio of 3.3 spaces per 1,000 rentable sf. Completion: early 2009.
