Rafael Vinoly Architects, New York City, is architect for the 415,000-sq.-ft. facility, which will be constructed by Turner Construction Co., Dallas. It will be 60 percent larger than the school's current facilities, including 18 classrooms and 34 group study rooms. An 83-ft.-high atrium will be a signature feature. Completion of the $125 million building is scheduled for September 2004. The building will have five above-grade floors and will replace four buildings now occupied by the business school.

HKS, Dallas, is architect for the 980,000-sq.-ft. development, which will include a 21-screen movie theater and 170 residential units. J.A. Jones/Tompkins Builders, Washington, received a $97.3 million general construction contract for the project, which is scheduled for completion in early 2004.

The new Carroll County Jail in Ossipee, N.H., will replace the present jail, which was constructed in the late 1800s around two cell blocks salvaged from a prison ship. SMRT Architecture Engineering Planning, Portland, Me., is design architect for the 43,500-sq.-ft., design-build project. Granger Northern Inc., also of Portland, is the design-builder.

Featuring turn-of-the-century Craftsman-style architecture, the 371,000-sq.-ft. Laguna Beach (Calif.) Colony Hotel will include 260 rooms and 14 condominiums. It was designed by Hill/Glazier Architects, Palo Alto, Calif. Wentz Group, San Carlos, Calif., is general contractor for the more than $80 million project, which is scheduled for completion in early 2003.
