The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) has announced the release of its very own chatbot, dubbed "Clark." Clark was built to assist users with their technical steel design and construction questions.
Clark digs through the Steel Construction Manual, Seismic Design Manual, all AISC standards and all AISC design guides. Upon answering a query, the chatbot even cites its sources.
Clark will also elaborate on your questions and refine them to better match your intended search.
Currently, the online application is "for testing purposes only at this time," according to AISC. Feedback from users—such as rating answer satisfaction and bug reporting—is accepted to help improve Clark.
